Tulane Green Wave Baseball Team Sees Three Players Named to 2025 AAC All-Tournament Team
The Tulane Green Wave baseball team has had three of its players named to the 2025 American Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Tournament Team, according to a report from Tulane Green Wave. The players recognised for their outstanding performances are designated player Gavin Schulz, outfielder Theo Bryant IV, and relief pitcher Tayler Montiel.
In an impressive display of skill, Schulz hit .444 in the tournament, with eight hits in 18 at bats. During this season’s tournament, he scored three runs, hit a double, a triple, and a home run, and achieved three RBIs, 14 total bases, a .778 slugging percentage, and an on-base percentage of .421. Tulane Green Wave reports that Schulz has played in 17 conference tournament games over his four-year career, scoring 24 runs, achieving 26 hits, three doubles, two triples, five home runs, 17 RBIs, 48 total bases, seven walks, a stolen base, and a batting average of .419.
Theo Bryant IV also made a significant impact, hitting .462 with three runs, six hits, a double, a home run, three RBIs, 10 total bases, a .769 slugging percentage, three walks, and an on-base percentage of .588. He played and started all four games in left field, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the team.
Relief pitcher Tayler Montiel appeared in three of the team’s four games in the 2025 tournament, going 1-0 with a save and six strikeouts in 5.2 innings worked. He successfully limited opponents to a .158 batting average without allowing a run, showcasing his skill and control on the pitch.
The recognition of these players comes as the Tulane Green Wave baseball team concludes its season.
