Tiffany Pollard Reignites Feud with Gemma Collins on This Morning
The Celebrity Big Brother icon, known for her dramatic meltdowns on the show, sat down with This Morning hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond to discuss her past experiences on the programme. According to the Daily Mail, Tiffany’s appearance on the show was marked by a heated exchange with her former co-star Gemma Collins.
During the interview, Alison brought up how Tiffany and Gemma seemed to get along at the start of the show, with Gemma even gifting Tiffany a pair of designer shoes for her birthday. The shoes, valued at $3,000, were a generous gift, but Tiffany revealed that Gemma eventually took them back. “She went into my cubby and took the shoes and one of the housemates told me ‘Oh Gemma took her shoes back sweetheart because you wouldn’t apologise to Angie about the David situation’,” Tiffany explained. The Daily Mail reports that Tiffany was unhappy about the shoes being taken back and took a swipe at Gemma, saying “I was like ‘Honey I would’ve given you those shoes back’ because her big everything knocked stones out of those shoes. I did look at those shoes and examine them, they were missing so many diamonds girl she could’ve kept them.”
The hosts looked visibly shocked at Tiffany’s comments, and Alison asked if the pair had made up since their time on the show. Tiffany replied, “We will never be that close Alison but what she did say when I left the house, she said ‘Well done’.” The Daily Mail notes that despite their past disagreements, Tiffany said she would consider participating in Celebrity Big Brother again, stating “I would do the show again and again.”
Tiffany also reflected on her time on the show, including the iconic “David’s dead” scene, where she misheard Angie Bowie’s sad news about her ex-husband David Bowie’s passing. Instead, Tiffany thought Angie was referring to their fellow housemate David Guest. “When Angie said David, what other David was I coming in contact with?” Tiffany asked. She added, “He was so sick and so pink and his eyes were red, he was so sick… He had to be taken out and he was on medication, poor thing I just figured he died.” The Daily Mail reports that Tiffany struggled to understand why her reaction was so controversial, saying “Once they told me David Bowie, it still didn’t register, I was like okay but she told me David so how was I wrong?”
