Jedward, the Irish pop duo, have spoken out about their time on Celebrity Big Brother, revealing some of the most shocking moments that viewers didn’t see. The twins, John and Edward Grimes, took part in the show in 2011 and returned again in 2017. In an interview with the Daily Mail, they shared some of the dramatic scenes that never made it to air.
According to Jedward, their first stint in the house was a light-heart affair, but during their second stint, things were significantly different. Edward shared that some nights got wild, with everyone drinking and drama in the smoking area. The pair also shed light on some of the series’ funniest moments, including a wardrobe mishap involving Bianca Gascoigne. Edward shared: "Once, John ran out of underpants, so Bianca gave him her thong." They added that many housemates also pursued unlikely romances during their time on the show.
Jedward went on to reveal that they were involved in a shocking health scare that wasn’t broadcast for viewers. Edward revealed that when he and John entered the house, he hurt his back as he fell off the stage. After being taken to hospital for tests, he was given the "scary diagnosis that he could have cancer," and spent his entire time in the series fearing for his health.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother is set to kick off on Monday, with stars including Patsy Palmer, Mickey Rourke, and Jojo Siwa moving into the famous house.
