Zara Larsson Announces New Album and European Tour
Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson has unveiled her latest project, a new album titled ‘Midnight Sun’, which is set to be released on September 26. According to a report from Stereoboard, the album will feature her recent single ‘Pretty Ugly’, although a full tracklist has not yet been disclosed.
Larsson, who has collaborated with MNEK, producer Margo XS, and songwriter Helena Gao on the record, explained the inspiration behind ‘Midnight Sun’. In a statement, she said: “In thinking about this album, I thought, ‘What do I want to say? What do I want this to be?’ I really am proud of my Swedish pop heritage, so I wanted to write about a Swedish summer where the sun never goes down. And it doesn’t matter if it’s December: the summer night will be there for you.
